The Cretellas are known for creating a specific look and feel, which is highly designed, with a modern flair, while incorporating traditional and distinguished materials. With this philosophy in mind, they transformed the Ryland Inn into a warm, inviting place for guests, to be pampered by top-notch staff in a comfortable environment.

Farm to Fork

The Ryland Inn proudly maintains a large herb garden on their property and has the pleasure of supporting local family farms, which have become institutions in Hunterdon and Somerset County. Championing the farmer is important to our restaurant. These relationships help create the dishes on Ryland’s menu and shape our guests’ dining experiences.

Private Dining

Enjoy the Ryland Inn’s four-star cuisine at your next private dining event for 6 to 100 guests. Choose from three separate rooms, including the Chef’s room with a view of the kitchen and the New York room overlooking the beautiful landscape. The lovely environment and gourmet, farm-to-table menus are sure to impress your guests.

Chef’s Room

Imagine a panoramic view of our chefs preparing your meal while you are seated in the luxurious Chef’s Room. Aside from the rare glimpse into a busy four-star kitchen, the focal point of this space is a dramatic iron and crystal chandelier centered under vaulted ceilings. This spectacular room accommodates 6-10 guests for a seated Chef’s Tasting Dinner. Each course of gourmet, farm-to-table cuisine is personally presented by our executive chef, Chris Albrecht.

New York Room

Ryland Inn’s New York Room is ideal for a seated dinner party for up to 14 guests or a cocktail reception for 40 guests. With floor-to-ceiling glass doors, this room boasts a beautiful view of the rolling landscape, with the benefit of a private terrace. Tucked in a remote corner of the Ryland Inn, this space is perfect to host a private event.

Washington Room

The Washington Room perfectly blends antique charm and modern sophistication. This versatile room can accommodate a seated dinner party of 45 people or a cocktail reception of 75 guests. Alongside centuries-old original paintings, this room boasts a state-of-the-art audiovisual system that is perfect for montages.
